Fall Returns I'm Looking Forward To (and some I'm not)

The fall shows are coming back I'm super over Big Brother which is the only summer show I'm watching right now so even though I dislike that winter is coming and Game of Thrones is over I'm looking forward to the fall shows.

1.  Mr. Robot.  The season 3 trailer was released a few weeks ago and I'm ready.  I'm ready for more twists I'm ready for the writers and producers to troll us some more.  I'm ready for what's next in this show that's steeped in 80s drama and yet it's Hackers meets mystery.  I'm a sucker for shows that have theories attached to them and the audience has to kinda work together to figure it out.  It doesn't matter if you're pro-choice or pro-life or think Brownie really did a heck of a job, we can all get together to try to figure out what's going on in a tv show.  I'm laughing as I write this but it's very true.

2. I am looking forward to American Horror Story very much so.  It's one of my favorite tv shows and I think that even if I don't like a season or I don't like a storyline I can still applaud it for style and reaching out of the box.  To me, there's no other show on tv like American Horror Story so I'm very much looking forward to Cult I did like how season six folded on itself where it became a show within a show and I will be blogging about AHS as the show goes into it's the seventh season.  I'm a sucker for shows with theories.  September 5th is when AHS returns.

3. Stranger Things.  I don't want to know anything about this show because I don't want to ruin it for myself because I love it so much.  I just looked at the weekend Stranger Things dropped and I'll probably be away for a WVU game.  I could cry.  I may not go.  But for season two the directors are saying to turn off the motion blur.  I will gladly turn it off if I knew how.  I'm sure my husband knows.

4. Legion isn't coming back until 2018, so that makes me a little angry.

5.  How to Get Away With Murder - after all of the reveals, I'm interested in seeing where the show goes but as far as I was concerned Wes was the show and the show (to me) was about his journey with these people in his orbit so the way they're headed with the show I'm half in and half out.  September 27th is when the show returns.

6. Grey's Anatomy - I'm going to ride this show out to the end, with Shonda moving to Netflix soon I don't think Grey's Anatomy is going to be on for much longer.  I am interested to see how Owen's sister returning changes the show because so many characters have died, it's interesting to me to look at it as if Lexi was coming back or Mark or George was coming back how that would change everyone's lives.  So Megan's return I've kind of already accepted her coming back I hope they do a time jump with some flashbacks.  October 5th is when we find out if the show is going to do what I want.


7.  Fear the Walking Dead, I blogged about the last episodes of Fear the Walking Dead and with the way it ended I'm really interested in seeing where these three murders go after their latest move.  I like this show a lot because it's more about family than the zombies BUT the zombies are important too lol.  So that returns September 10th.

8.  I want to be done with The Walking Dead, the way I feel about this show is the way I feel about Grey's Anatomy.  If I stop watching something crazy will happen and I'll feel like I missed out and I kind of resent both shows for it.
We get it, Negan is a bad dude.  It's been this way for episodes so I'm over him.  I'm over it.  My cousin couldn't walk when Negan killed off two major characters and it's been so long that he's 2 now and talking and telling us he's not gonna do stuff so enough time has passed. (I was feeding my cousin when we all saw that episode so that's how I remember LOL) Oct. 22 is when this show returns

9.  Survivor comes back Sept 26 and this season is Healers v Hustlers v Heroes and it's all in the casting.  I'm hoping for a great cast, a smart cast, as much as Brains Brawns Beauty infuriated me there was some good gameplay involved and after this horrid season of Big Brother I need a show to have some kind of gameplay and planning somewhere somehow along the way.  I was SO disappointed when Ozzie came back to play and he just - didn't.  I will admit there's so much we don't see but I'm looking forward to anything better than this season of Big Brother.

10.  Supernatural, I don't know who the next bad guy is.  Mary and Castiel are lost with Sam and Dean raising the antichrist?  This used to be my favorite show.  We're in season 13 it comes back October 22 and if THIS isn't the last season then NEXT season is the last season.  It really has lost it's way after Kim Manners died, Eric Kripke and Sera Gamble left yes I read those opening slow crawl credits.

  

As much as I love Marvel and shows related to Marvel (yes, Legion) I'm not going to watch InHumans, we had Heroes, which I did love at first and we had other x-men shows and it's on Fox and Fox has a history of not treating their scifi shows with any respect.  So I'll keep up with that show in other people's recaps.

I'm not looking forward to Scandal coming back, extreme misuse of a cast.  I love the actors but the writing is unbelievable to me.  I liken this show to a romance novel same with Grey's Anatomy.  Remember when Liv used to save people?  The first scene of the first episode she's saving a baby and now...now I don't know what this show is.  She's walking away from her firm and handing it to the other psycho.  I'll watch it but I'm not looking forward to it.

Being Mary Jane comes back September 19th and as much as I love Gabrielle Union I may stop watching.  I wouldn't write it this way.  It was more entertaining when she wanted to be the anchorwoman, what is she reaching for?  What's her adversary?  Ok fine.  She's angry all the time.  Honestly what black woman isn't right now in America.  But are we going to give her a healthy outlet or are we going to keep her looking crazy the whole time?

I want to watch Seal Team but it's just going to make me miss The Unit.  I loved the Unit.
