You Decide Your Own Level of Involvement

I wasn't too hyped when True Blood came back on.  Mostly because season two was the unncessary orgy season and Jason's who Light Of Day institue fizzled out with a few paint balls fired.  I did like the season but what I didn't like was about 50/50.  Season one was better because I spent most of the season saying everyone was the killer even Bill.  I hate Bill but that's later. I like vampires, but I want them to be more monstorous than "Oooh look at him sparkle!" I came out this year and said I liked Twilight, in case you missed it, that indeed did go down and yes, I like it.  But what I don't like in all of my favorite vampire shows is how cuddly vampires have become. My first vampire was Lestat and Louis.  I certainly did not want to run off with him and marry him.  I was afraid of him and I wanted to know how he was going to deal with being a vampire.  It was girm, it was dark and people and vampires both died.  Then came Buff...

I was watching Burn Notice yesterday and I noticed, that they're opening is well, redundant.  At first I was cool, ya know, my name is Michael Weston, oh yeah!  Get on with the show, and now all these seaons later his name is still Michael Weston and the opening is still the same.  Sometimes I don't mind it when the opening stays the same, like on these shows: 1.  Roswell If you know me, then you know Roswell is my favorite show.  It had and still does have a lot of potential, I mean, come on, if we can bring back the Smurfs we can bring back Roswell. This is one of my favorites because Dido is one of my favorite singers. This isn't the opening I wanted. I wanted the first season but could not find it. 2.  True Blood Because the opening looks like soemthing you could film but once you thought about it, it would take a whole lot of time to do.  Besides were in the world would I find a dead fox to film anyway? 3.  Mad Men No other ope...

This may have been addressed elsewhere seeing as the show has been off the air since...2003?  I think it was 2003 so that's a good 7 years that people have had time to talk about this to death, but I read on a recent thread that someone thought that there was a glaring mistake all through the last season. That Buffy came back alive without another Slayer to take her place.  A lot of people say it was poor writing or a mistake.  I think the last season rocked, which is also why Angel suffered because the good writers can't all be in one place.  Sometimes I pretend that season four of Angel didn't happen, it's a happier place, a place where things make sense and your favorite characters aren't engaging in statutory rape.  But I'm out of that place now and back on topic. I think another slayer didn't take Buffy's place when she died the second time because a) it was a mystical death and b) she had already died before so therefore she didn't registe...

Vampires at True Dusk ((I wrote this some time ago, when I was very bored and experiencing writer's block.)) When I get writer's block, I get silly and write fanfiction/spoofs check it out.
